Raster to Vector-sharpen Your Sensory Powers

Raster images refer to the computer graphics which comprise pixels that may be of differing colors, while Vector images consist of paths which determine the quality of images. Raster images are also known as Bitmap images. The process of converting Raster to Vector image can be done via a number of computer software tools.
In order to convert Raster to Vector image, the raster file needs to be loaded to the CAD. The Raster file can be created by scanning the paper drawing. Next, the conversion of Raster to vector takes place and the DXP file is imported.
The obvious advantage of converting Raster to Vector Image files is that the Raster images have a tendency to go down in terms of quality. The more one makes the images bigger, the more blurred and jagged appearances they take. Whereas Bitmaps or Raster images are best obtained on moderated digital cameras, Vector images are designed mathematically into paths and seem smooth, whatever be the size of the image. Photographs of picturesque scenes with immaculate and subtle shading on them are best ones for Raster images, while page layout, line art and illustrations are the ones for Vector images. In fact, photographers prefer using Vector formats in most cases and Raster only in pictures or scenes where there are instances of non-uniform shading. With advancement in Computer graphics, the Vector format is turning out to be more useful and thus the conversion from Raster to Vector Image is becoming an important tool.

  7. Yes, you are absolutely right. Raster to vector conversion is the only process to get a high quality sharpen image. Sometime clipping path service can also be applied but you can't make larger image then the original one.
